CNG refueling stations were established in Dhaka city in 1995 and refueling station was installed in 2002 inside the Company's CNG Workshop at Joarshahara runs under own management of RPGCL. In this fiscal year 2008-2009 RPGCL’s own CNG Conversion workshop has converted 641 vehicals into CNG run ones, of which 555 are of Government Transport Pool/different ministries/Autonomous bodies and 86 of Private vehicles. The company earned Tk. 364.92 lac from Conversion of  these vehicles . Among that Tk. 330.17  lac has been given as credit facilities to the different govt. organizations. In this year the company has been able to sell 0.9676 MMCM CNG against the target of 0.92 MMCM . The total revenue earned from this sector Tk. 164.11 lac.
